Jennie lost her son, Henry, to suicide almost 10 years ago. He was a sophomore studying Art and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. In Jennie’s words: “Henry was the funniest, most creative person I knew. He and I had shared professional interests and he worked as an intern at NVIDIA the summer before he died and planned to intern at Dropbox the following summer.”

About Jennie Baird: Jennie is a digital media executive with over 30 years of experience bridging content, technology, and product. She currently serves as EVP and Managing Director in Digital News and Streaming at BBC Studios. Jennie is married to Christophe Armero with whom she raised 5 children. The couple co-facilitates a monthly suicide bereavement support group, in memory of their son Henry, who died by suicide at age 19 in 2012.
